2009 Highland Games are near

The infamous Pullman Highland Games are soon approaching. The competition will be fierce, the fire biting at the October chill, as kilt laden competitors battle it out to be worthy of the 2009 William Wallace title. Forming your clan is more important than ever this year, for in this man against man arena, support from your clan mates (and their collective points) is needed to achieve honor and victory!

~ Kilt making party. Date to be announced

~ Meet on Glenn Terrell Mall on October 17th at high noon (12:00) to register with your clan. Points are awarded towards the William Wallace title for participation in the run; also your clan must complete the Highland Run to compete.

~ Highland Games will commence at Boothman’s house 1280 N. Davis Way Saturday, October 17th at 1:30pm.

Prepare for the 2008 Games

The time for the games is now, so prepare, form your clans, practice caber tossing your friends*, and find your inner Scotsman.

~ Kilt making party at E-free church Thursday, October 2nd at 7:00pm. (Bring 5 yards of your favorite tartan material)

~ Highland Games Run starting at Glenn Terrel Mall Saturday, October 4th at 1:00pm. (If you skip the Highland Run, a deduction will be made from your final score)

~ Highland Games begin at Boothman’s house 1280 N. Davis Way Saturday, October 4th at 1:30pm.

*we don’t actually recomend throwing people. Doing so may result in physical injury and/or hinder personal friendships.

Highland Games 2007 Reflection

~The air was cold and the sky wet, the cabers heavy and challenge great, but this did not detour the brave kilt laden men from this years games.   We reflect on the beautiful October day, with snapshots that can not truly express it’s greatness. Enjoy.

‘Tis Highland Games 2007

The games are upon us. It is time to form you clans, find your old kilt, paint your face, and practice your best Scottish accent.

~ Kilt making party at E-free church Tuesday, October 16th @ 9:00pm after SOMA.  (Bring 5 yards of your favorite tartan material)

~ Highland Games Run starting at Glenn Terrel Mall Saturday, October 20th @ 1:00pm. (If you skip the Highland Run, a deduction will be made from your final score)

~ Highland Games begin at Boothman’s house 1280 N. Davis Way Saturday, October 20th @ 1:30pm.
